MXRA Medical X-ray Analyzer for Medical Device Quality Control
The MXRA incorporates high-sensitivity X-ray imaging capability in a unit small enough to fit on a desktop.
Glenbrook Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1983 to meet the electronics industry’s need for real-time X-ray inspection systems. Since 1993, Glenbrook has manufactured X-ray systems for inspecting medical devices such as catheters, pacemakers, shunts, stents, and surgical staples. Its X-ray inspection systems are used by medical device manufacturers worldwide.
The MXRA provides high-sensitivity X-ray imaging in a unit small enough to fit on a desktop. It uses Glenbrook's patented X-ray camera technology to produce images at anode voltages as low as 15 kV, revealing voids in plastic mouldings that may not be apparent with conventional real-time X-ray techniques. Its high-resolution images can reveal defects as small as 0.001 inches.
The MXRA system can be upgraded with image processors, video micrometers, and printers.
